Think of watching a child learn to walk. You can almost feel their strain and struggle. You think to yourself “Come on you can do it.” You can see the determination on their little scrunched up face. One step then boom back on the floor. And if he is your child, think of how proud you are of him. You swell with pride inside. You tell everyone you can how your little child took his or her first step.
What happened to confidence you had? The empowering feeling resonating through your veins. The voice screaming if she can do it, so can I. As a child you watched everyone around you walking upright and decided, “Hey, I can walk too!”
What happened to your belief that one step is a momentous occasion. Imagine now if you took one step towards what you wanted from you life TODAY. Then you fell down. But like a child you felt the pride reverberating in through the halls of your mind. The voice inside says to you “Come on you can do it.” And BAM. You’re seeing the goal in front of you and you just take the next step.
This is confidence. The expectation, the innate inner strength which allows you to reach the stars.
Do you know you already have confidence in your life?
I’ll prove it to you. When you think of going to the grocery, do you believe you’ll buy what you need and come back home? Almost everyone does. So what if you took this confidence, this belief of inevitable achievement, and allowed it to flow to other areas of your life. How would that be? You couldn’t not succeed at this point, could you? That’s right.
Hypnosis can help you to regain the confidence you were born with. With hypnosis, you’ll be able to change those nasty limiting beliefs into powerful new empowering beliefs at the unconscious level.
Hypnosis nearly effortlessly allows you to regain the confidence you were born with. By changing your subconscious beliefs and habits, hypnosis can and will dramatically alter your confidence.
Have you ever noticed confident people tend to act like confident people? With hypnosis you can train your mind to act and thereby feel confident. Unlike other supposed confidence courses hypnosis gives you true confidence both in action and feeling.

Sure of his or her abilities, position in life, or even potential. Everyone feels confident in some area of their life, even if it’s just confidence that you can go to the store and by your groceries.
Typically when someone desires to increase their confidence it is in a certain part of their life where they do not feel sure of themselves. Neuro-Linguistic Programming or NLP is regarded as an extremely effective means of developing confidence. NLP models or copies the exact patterns that a confident person uses to feel confident.
In addition to this, NLP helps a person to instill the confident beliefs directly into his or her subconscious mind. By changing the habits within the subconscious, a person can easily change his or her behaviors.
Where most confidence coaches advise clients to act confident, this can be difficult for many people. Confidence is more a feeling of inner security that must be anchored in some form within the mind. Acting confident for long enough will allow some people to become confident in a certain area but most people will give up long before they have the confidence they want.
Neuro-linguistic programming or NLP allows a person to move confidence from one area of their life to another area by moving the how the confident feeling is filed in the mind. Learning NLP allows a person to have endless confidence in whatever area of life they want because NLP gives a person what is called state control.
State control, in a nutshell, is the ability to feel whatever you want in whatever situation you are in. A hallmark of all successful people is the ability to control their emotional state in any situation. Confidence is definitely a state of being that NLP is most effective at instilling in a person.

Change, like death and taxes seems to be one of the only constants in life. One of my favorite sayings is “This too will come to pass.” Whenever a stressful situation arises in my life, I like to bring that mantra to mind.
Of course when things are going great I’d love to think the old maxim doesn’t hold true. Unfortunately not the case. Dealing with the good changes are usually easier than the negative changes but all change brings new experiences and thus stress.
When your faced with a job loss, or any negative change, view it as a new opportunity to take a new and exciting course in life. There is an old Taoist proverb which talks about changes in life:
An old man has a mare that one day escapes her corral. The old man’s neighbor says “This is terrible.”
The old man replies “Maybe it is, maybe it isn’t. Only time will tell.”
The next day the mare returns with a stallion and 6 other horses.
The neighbor says “This is great news!”
The old man replies “Maybe it is, maybe it isn’t. Only time will tell.”
The next day the old man’s son is trying to tame the stallion and is thrown off breaking his leg.
The neighbor says “This is terrible.”
The old man replies “Maybe it is, maybe it isn’t. Only time will tell.”
The next day the army comes into town and drafts all the young men into the army to fight for the emperor. The old man’s son is spared because he has a broken leg.
The neighbor says “This is great news!”
The old man replies “Maybe it is, maybe it isn’t. Only time will tell.”
The point of the story is everything in life changes. The best way to deal with change is to step out of your comfort zone. Try new things.
If you’ve lost your job, try taking some classes to learn a new skill. Or even apply for jobs with training in areas you’ve never experienced.
If a relationship has ended work on discovering more about yourself. Take a trip by yourself, this will take you out of your comfort zone and force you to take stock of yourself.
The point is, stressful changes are times of growth and learning. Take full advantage of them because it will change.

If you have ever had an anxiety attack or panic attack you know what absolute terror feels like. Anxiety attacks can be much worse than being in an actual dangerous situation. With an anxiety attack, there is no action to take to help yourself. The danger is all within your mind and your mind can conjure some horribly frightful ideas.
The worst part is if you don’t attack the anxiety when it arises, it will only get worse. The fear of having another anxiety attack or panic attack will lead to so much anxiety that many people can’t leave there home or do any of the activities they so want to do.
* Luckily there are ways of conquering your anxiety and taking control of your life once again.
Letting Go of the Anxiety
The interesting and most problematic issue with anxiety how much control you lose to the endless cycles. Like being stuck in a spin cycle, the more you spin the dizzier you become.
Even worse, once anxiety attacks and panic attacks become entrenched, they become a habit. Your whole life starts revolving around the very fact that an attack can happen anytime. Of course belief often makes the case come true, so if you do become stuck in this habit you need an effective way out of it.
Using Positive Affirmations to Overcome Anxiety
A good way to conquer anxiety is with affirmations. Affirmations do take time to take effect but with practice they can override the anxiety attacks and panic attacks and change your beliefs about yourself and your condition.
So what is an affirmation? An affirmation is a repeated statement. The best way create an affirmation is to determine exactly what your desired outcome is.
A funny thing about the mind is it cannot process negatives properly. Try this fun little exercise and you’ll discover what I mean.
Go ahead now and don’t think of a blue tree. Again try really hard to not think of a blue tree. Make sure you have no thoughts of a blue tree. When you did this exercise you have to think of a blue tree first in order to not think about it.
This means an affirmation such as “I don’t have panic attacks,” will translate within your subconscious mind as “I have panic attacks.” This is obviously the wrong affirmation.
A better affirmation may be “I remain peaceful and happy around groups of people.” This affirmation is stated in the positive, it is what you desire to happen.
Another good way of discovering affirmations is to look online for affirmations specifically relating to relieving anxiety attacks or panic attacks.
Affirmations work because the mind can only think one thought at a time. I know when your having an anxiety attack it may be hard but changing your focus to your affirmation can make a huge difference.
By using the affirmations whenever you feel anxiety or panic attacks you help to reprogram your mind. Reprogramming your mind is how to conquer the anxiety for good.
Every time you use an affirmation, you leave less and less room for the irrational fears.

Created by Gary Craig and effectively given to the world EFT has a large following of both practitioners and users. The question arises, does EFT work?
To answer the question of whether or not EFT or tapping works would require quite a bit of study. Proponents of emotional freedom technique say it works on anything. That anything being emotional issues, fears, phobias, depression, headaches, body pain, etc. Truly nearly everything.
If you haven’t tried EFT or tapping yourself then be sure to go to YouTube or some other online video sharing platform, many people have uploaded basic tutorials on how to use EFT. Whether or not tapping works seems to be a matter of preference. Many people do find relief quickly with the technique. In fact, in Canada, EFT is considered the go to treatment for post traumatic stress disorder or PTSD for returning soldiers.
Working on certain acupressure points of the body, EFT seems to reset nerve signals to the brain, though this has not been scientifically proven. My own experience with emotional freedom technique began 10 years ago when I learned it from Gary Craig’s book. I personally used the technique to overcome many limiting beliefs I had about myself. Being in sales at the time, I used EFT to eliminate my fear of cold calling and boost my confidence.
From my personal experience, EFT works well. Though not as fast as neuro-linguistic programming or NLP techniques emotional freedom technique is extremely easy to teach a client who is having strong emotional issues. From my clients testimony tapping works extremely well. I’ve had clients who even report alleviating migraine headaches within minutes that used to lay them up for days at a time.
In conclusion, emotional freedom technique may not be scientifically proven without a doubt, but from the effects it has had on people I say give it a try. The technique is simple, fast, easy to learn and is effective on some level for quite a few people. It may very well work for you.</itunes:summary> <itunes:author>Ryan Camana</itunes:author> <itunes:explicit>no</itunes:explicit> <itunes:block>no</itunes:block>

Happiness- What Is It And How To Attain Happiness

Happiness

Self Improvement Techniques

attain happiness

happiness

happy

how to be happy

true happiness

truly happy people
<guid

Everyone says they want to be happy and yet very few people can describe exactly what happiness is. Even the dictionary seems obscure about the true meaning of happiness. In this article we’ll cover what happiness is and the steps to attaining that elusive feeling.
Having worked with and spoken with hundreds of people on the issue of happiness, those who have it and those who don’t, I’ve noticed a specific pattern. When you ask most people if they are happy, they’ll tell you “Sure. Everything is going OK.” The problem is when someone says they want happiness they often believe happiness is akin to contentment. Contentment is the feeling that everything is good or is going well. People who are truly happy experience happiness differently. True happiness is excitement about the life you have chosen to live.
If you notice, I wrote above, “the life you have chosen to live.” People who are truly happy have accepted that they are in charge of life. Yes they’ve had bad things happen to them. Many people I’ve met who are truly happy have had difficult lives full of abuse, disappointment, illnesses, and traumatic loss. The difference between these people and others who are just content, are the happy people have decided to use a specific philosophy. They live their lives at cause.
Living your life at cause is the first step towards happiness. Living at cause means accepting that bad things are going to happen in life. They happen all of the time. Most people blame other people, God, the government or just plain bad luck. People who experience true happiness accept that a bad thing has happened without blame and ask themselves what they can learn from the experience. They take ownership of their own life and feel incredible control and happiness for this decision.
Probably the most interesting aspect of living at cause, is these truly happy people have let go of the fear of living. They take risks that others fear. They leave their comfort zones and seek out growth and excitement because they no longer fear being a victim. They feel in control of their lives. These people accept that life is full of challenge and each challenge brings them new opportunities and experiences. Situations in life that make them feel alive and happy.

Often conflict can lead to ongoing feelings of ill will that may affect other areas of your life. Releasing the past conflict is the best way to allow yourself to move forward with your life.
Look at the Conflict with an Open Heart and Mind
Looking at an old conflict with a new perspective is the best way to release it hold on you. To do this you need to experience the situation in a different light. One of the best techniques I know of to release an old conflict is what I like to call the fly on the wall technique.
This technique works best if you can think of a specific situation where a conflict occurred. For instance, I have in the past had a rocky relationship with my mother. There have been times when I have been so frustrated with the situation that I refused to even speak with the woman.
Obviously this caused me quite a bit of emotional grief. I believe most people would like to enjoy the support and comfort of their family. In order to relieve this conflict I used the Fly On The Wall Technique. The first step was to think of a specific argument my mother and I had. This was easy since we had had so many.
The next step was to run through the situation in my mind. I just remembered how I felt, what I heard and saw. The next step is where the technique gets interesting. The next step is to imagine the same argument from my mothers point of view.
Specifically, I imagined looking at myself through my mother’s eyes. This had the immediate effect of showing me how irrationally angry I was with the situation. I could see the anger in my face and I could imagine what my mother was feeling as she saw that anger.
The last step is to run through the argument one more time as if I was a fly on the wall or a looking through the view finder of a security camera. What I saw from this perspective was two people who loved each other dearly and who just didn’t understand how to communicate with each other.
That simple exercise, used over and over has helped me regain a relationship with my mother. Our relationship is not perfect, but we do speak to each other regularly.
Go ahead and use this technique yourself to release any old or present conflicts you are experiencing in your life.</itunes:summary> <itunes:keywords>Relationships</itunes:keywords> <itunes:author>Ryan Camana</itunes:author> <itunes:explicit>no</itunes:explicit> <itunes:block>no</itunes:block>

Does Hypnotherapy Work?

Hypnosis

Hypnotherapy

hypnosis

hypnosis therapy

hypnotherapy
<guid

These entertaining shows give only a tiny glimpse of the true power of hypnosis. Hypnosis is mostly used for therapy and has been proven to be extremely effective. Some of the popular uses for hypnosis therapy or hypnotherapy are smoking cessation, weight loss, and for the treatment of mental ailments.
Hypnosis is the only therapy that works by changing the internal thoughts of the client. These internal thoughts known as patterns, beliefs, habits and behaviors effect all aspects of a person’s life. The reason many people turn to hypnosis for therapy is hypnosis is one of the few natural means of effectively treating many ailments. How would you like to erase decades old habits in a matter of hours? Raise confidence, change behaviors, alleviate anxiety and depression or even lose weight, hypnosis has been shown to be effective in all of these areas and more.
Unlike traditional therapy that may take many years to have a positive effect, hypnosis goes directly to the root of the problem. By changing how the mind thinks, change becomes natural and nearly effortless. For instance, if you want to lose weight, taking on the habits of a naturally thin person will make you lose weight. A naturally thin persons thinking can easily be instilled in your unconscious mind to give you these good habits.
Another example, if you wanted to have more confidence, hypnotherapy can be used to instill self confidence. Utilizing the same beliefs, behaviors and patterns of a naturally confident person can make you confident. The problem is acting confident is relatively simple, feeling confident requires changing internal beliefs. With hypnosis therapy these beliefs can be changed easily and effortlessly.
If you have a more serious mental ailment such as anxiety or depression, hypnotherapy has been accepted by the American Medical Association as a viable and effective treatment. Hypnotherapy can help you overcome nearly any aspect of life which has a mental basis which is nearly everything in life.</itunes:summary> <itunes:keywords>Hypnosis, Hypnotherapy</itunes:keywords> <itunes:author>Ryan Camana</itunes:author> <itunes:explicit>no</itunes:explicit> <itunes:block>no</itunes:block>

How To Have Confidence When Speaking To Women

Confidence

Neuro-Linguistic Programming

achieve confidence

confidence speaking

feel confidence

having confidence

self confidence
<guid

Confidence, of course, is the most attractive trait a man can have. A man who has a strong sense of self confidence has little or no trouble with dating.
There seem to be endless techniques on how to have confidence when speaking to women. The most common advice is to act confident until you feel the confidence. This advice is sound. If you work at something long enough, you will eventually feel some confidence in the action. If you’re talking about dating, however, it can take quite a bit of time to feel confident in speaking with women. Time you probably would rather spend doing something else.
There is a faster way of developing confidence, and that is using NLP or neuro linguistic programming. NLP is known as the study of excellence. By modeling the exact behaviors and beliefs that a confident person has, NLP allows you to feel confidence almost immediately.
What is confidence? Confidence is a feeling of security which leads to being outwardly focused. By outwardly focused, I mean, letting go of the inner dialogue which plagues most people without confidence. If you are spending your time thinking about everything you are going to say, everything the woman is going to say, trying to come up with the perfect answer, this is not confidence.
How do you achieve a confident feeling?
The best way to achieve confidence is to remove all of the limiting beliefs about yourself that are keeping you from self acceptance. This process takes time and training or professional help so let me give you a quick way of getting that outward focused confidence.
This NLP technique allows you to dissociate the major feelings of anxiety you may feel when speaking to a woman. The technique is quite simple and involves visualization or imagining.
First, you want to imagine watching yourself speaking to a woman from outside your body. You can do this while speaking to a woman or when preparing to speak to a woman.
By imagining yourself standing behind or next to yourself, you dissociate from the feelings and tensions you may be experiencing in your body. This allows you to experience the feeling of confidence, of not worrying about what’s going on in your body, of your errant thoughts or other distractions.
Once you become used to this feeling you can stop doing the visualization and just allow yourself to experience the outward focus naturally.

Making proper decisions can be a stressful and daunting task until you learn the secrets about how to make decisions easily and correctly. In this article we’ll cover some of the misconceptions about leadership and decision making.
All of us make decisions daily. If you choose to not make a decision you are deciding something. The decisions we make on a daily basis affects every aspect of our lives. Deciding to lead a successful, happy, fulfilled life involves making the same decisions that other successful, happy and fulfilled people make. We can apply this same technique to making effective decisions as a leader. The process we can follow is to model how effective leaders make decisions.
How does an effective leader make a decision?
First of all, many people who are new to positions of leadership make a fundamental mistake which immediately limits their effectiveness and scope. This mistake is so prevalent, in fact, that it is one of the top reasons a manager, executive or entrepreneur can’t succeed in moving to bigger projects with greater rewards and responsibility.
This one mistake is the belief that you, as the leader, need to come up with all of the answers. The number one secret to making effective decisions as a leader is to let go of the belief that you need to know everything and have all of the answers. Many leaders fall into this trap and inadvertently stagnate their own career, growth and income.
The role of a leader is to point to a place a goal or an outcome and say, “This is where we are going.” The next action an effective leader does is to ask those he is leading or a group of advisers “What are our options for achieving this outcome.” The proper way to make a decision as a leader is to have those who you are leading present you with various options on how to achieve the group goal and then decide the course you will take. Think for instance of the President of the US, he has a cabinet of advisers who present him with ideas and then he decides on which course to take based on his judgment of the course.
By following this decision making process, a leader can impartially evaluate various options because he or she is not biased by wanting to have the “right” idea. Making decisions as a leader is not about being the smartest or the best, it’s about deciding on a destination and evaluating and re-evaluating the course to that destination.

While hypnosis is not mind control and all hypnosis is self hypnosis it is still extremely powerful. Unfortunately, some people have used forms of hypnosis for the wrong motive.
Hypnosis involves influencing of the unconscious mind by changing the internal patterns and thought processes. When using hypnosis, especially in a clinical fashion a hypnotist needs to choose his or her words carefully. The unconscious mind is like a child. A child listens to what he or she is told and internalizes the idea. If a child is told good things about himself, he grows up with a good self esteem. The opposite is also true. If a child is told he is stupid or lazy, he internalizes these beliefs tends to grow up acting out or behaving based on these beliefs.
With hypnosis, suggestions can be very powerful. If a hypnotist does not keep his clients best interest in mind, he or she can inadvertently suggest a pattern or thought process that can be detrimental.
One of the most tragic uses of hypnosis was the actions of Hitler during World War II. Hitler used conversational hypnosis patterns to demonize many groups of people, especially those of Jewish descent. Because of his fervent speeches using conversational hypnosis patterns, he caused millions of people to lose their lives.
When using hypnosis to influence people, it is important to influence them for good. Convincing a person that he or she is worthy of great things and is capable of achieving anything is a great use of influence. Motivational speakers often use conversational hypnosis to do just this. Using hypnosis with the motivation of doing good for people is what makes hypnosis so incredibly beneficial.

Despite this lack of understanding on precisely how hypnosis works, it has been proven the human mind and body are highly suggestible. The good news for us, is this suggestibility is a positive trait.
First off, lets discuss “suggestibility.” Many peoples only exposure to hypnosis has been from the hypnosis stage shows of Las Vegas and county fairs. Maybe you’ve seen people running around acting like chickens seemingly against their will. This belief that the hypnotist can control your mind is just a myth. Suggestibility is just like it sounds, a suggestion. The person can take your suggestion or leave it. Perhaps someone has suggested to you a restaurant that you may like. You don’t have to go to the restaurant but you probably will if you trust and respect that person.
Suggestibility with hypnotherapy is similar to a suggestion to go to a new restaurant. The difference is, the hypnotist is working within your unconscious mind. For instance, if you have a nagging pain that won’t go away and the doctors can do nothing but give you pain medicine, hypnosis may be just what you’ve been looking for. A hypnotist can help guide your mind, through suggestions, to remove the pain.
You see the mind controls feelings of pain you feel in your body. The body sends the signal and the mind reads that signal as pain and creates the feeling of pain in your body. With hypnotherapy, a hypnotist can help suggest to the brain to stop reacting to the pain allowing a person freedom from pain they could not obtain any other way.
Mental suggestions work just as well. A person’s unconscious mind controls most of your behaviors and actions. Rather than having to make decisions constantly about every action you take, your unconscious mind uses programs or patterns which stem from the beliefs you have accepted about yourself. The beliefs about yourself are mostly suggestions made to you by your parents and those around you while you were young.
With hypnotherapy, new suggestions that you are a confident, happy, successful person can be used to change beliefs that you are a shy, anxious, unsuccessful person which you might have decided when you were young.</itunes:summary> <itunes:keywords>Hypnosis</itunes:keywords> <itunes:author>Ryan Camana</itunes:author> <itunes:explicit>no</itunes:explicit> <itunes:block>no</itunes:block>
